Suburban Connect is the joint venture consortium appointed to deliver the $3.6 billion Suburban Rail Loop East tunnelling package - one of the most ambitious and technically complex transport infrastructure projects in Melbourne's history.

The consortium brings together global expertise in tunnelling, civil construction, and rail delivery to take on a project that will fundamentally reshape how Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs connect. The 16 km twin tunnel build requires exceptional coordination across three joint venture partners, a deep and complex supply chain, and a workforce operating around the clock at significant depth beneath one of Australia's largest cities.

The scale of the Suburban Rail Loop project - in terms of workforce, procurement, and community footprint - makes social procurement and local content compliance one of the most demanding aspects of delivery. Thousands of workers, hundreds of subcontractors, and a Victorian Government principal with high expectations for community benefit reporting.

Suburban Connect leverages SocialPro to consolidate social procurement and workforce compliance data across joint venture partners - delivering structured, audit-ready outputs to the Victorian Government throughout construction.
