Ballarat is getting a sports precinct that reflects the city's ambition and its community's love of sport.
Kane Constructions and Nicholson Construction are jointly delivering the $80 million Eureka Sports Precinct redevelopment in Ballarat on behalf of Development Victoria - expanding one of regional Victoria's most important venues with a new stadium and athletics centre.
The redevelopment will significantly upgrade facilities for athletes, spectators, and the broader Ballarat community. The expanded stadium will increase capacity and improve amenity for football, cricket, and other major events, while the new athletics centre will provide a dedicated, high-quality training and competition facility for regional athletes.
For a city of Ballarat's size and sporting culture, this is a genuinely transformative investment. It builds on the region's strong history of producing elite athletes and hosting major events - and signals that regional Victoria's sporting infrastructure is keeping pace with its ambitions.
The project supports local employment and the regional construction workforce throughout delivery.
SocialPro is being used by the project teams to assist with delivery of this project.
